Overview
The BendPak Ranger RL-8500 is a combination disc and drum brake lathe that ships with a heavy steel bench and a full standard tooling package. It resurfaces rotors, drums, and flywheels for passenger cars and light trucks.
The RL-8500 uses independent DC servo motors for the cross-feed and spindle-feed drives, removing the gear boxes and transmissions that introduce chatter on mechanically driven lathes. A 450-lb cast iron body and solid bench damp vibration for a clean one-pass finish. It fits any auto service equipment shop doing regular brake work. Ranger is a BendPak brand.
